The Balance between Family and Work

Actually, many people think that having a job, then improving and making money is the most important purpose in their lifes. Nevertheless, the family plays a role in their lifes because the family is emotional support that we have. Can you have a job and family at the same time?

The answer is –yes I can- If you are organized person.It´s hard for some people find the balance between family and work because both, family and work need time and need dedication. For example, In the short story The Jack Randa Hotel (Open secret, Alice Munro) we can find a woman Gail who firstly lost your family because when she was eighteen years old she left her house with her boybriend and never returned to see her family, So in that moment the only support was her boyfriend. Then she knew Will, the love of her life. but the time after he left her for another woman named Sandy. So decided following her ex-husband Will to Australia, leaving her house, her possetions, her job (because she had a store which she had to sell to Donalda), and her country for love. In fact, she though that family is the most important thing because in her case, the only family that she had was Will.  This was a brave decision., leaving everything for nothing because Will did not love her.

In ddition, I think that Gail took a bad decisions in her life that is why she could not find the balance between family and work for that reason she did not prosper in their work or made ​​a family.

In my case, I have mixed the study and family because I am married and have a baby. I am happy for this, I love my husband and I love my son and I like to study too, but It´s so hard for me, because my little family need me and I need to study so much. Both are very important for me because If I do not study I will have bad grades, therefore I will have to leave university and this is so bad for my future. But if I do not pay attention to my family the relationship between us will be wrong and it will not let me concentrate my studies.I tried to organize my time but sometimes, I think I need more hours in the day to accomplish everything. However, I am just starting with this new routine but I am a strong and courageous woman who can do it. I am neither the first nor the last person has to do something similar, mixing work and family.

In conclusion, you can find the balance between family and work, If you love them. The balance is not what is more important than another but how you face your work and your family at the same time. Finally, work and family go hand in hand because you can not live good financially If you do not work   but can not live without your emotional support, family.
You must be organized and you will have family and work.
